In 2018, SmugMug acquired Flickr from Yahoo, and I was part of the team responsible for the transition. My role involved designing new login and sign-up experiences for Flickr on web, iOS, and Android platforms. We focused on addressing our Flickr photography members’ most requested feature, which ultimately became the top priority during our company’s largest data migration, transferring over 100 million user accounts from Yahoo’s data centers to AWS.
