I started Daily Polaroider to cultivate a daily photography habit while also learning to excel at shooting with a new medium. This 490-day polaroid project taught me to be more observant and curious about the world around me every day. It was especially challenging on days when I followed my usual commute and work routine—I often found myself scratching my head, wondering, “What should I photograph today?”. I’m a big stickler for following through; I committed to this project as if my life depended on it. Even on days when I felt the least motivated, I made sure to shoot.

Throughout this journey, I exhibited my photographs at an art exhibition in San Francisco, designed a photo zine, and wrote a how-to guide for SmugMug. Here are some of my favorite photographs from my series. Enjoy!
